Xodó means a caress, a sweetheart. This is a love song about longing for a xodó that would end loneliness and sadness. When Adriana was recording this tune, she unexpectedly caught a glimpse of Stella, Mike’s girlfriend, looking at him while he was playing the piano with the most tender and loving eyes one can imagine. Adriana was very touched by that moment which resulted in the extra sweetness she added to the song as if she was singing to them.
